Overview and Responsibilities
SUMMARY:
Nickelodeon Animation Studio is looking for a Casting Coordinator. The Casting Coordinator interfaces with talent, production, talent agencies and the casting teams throughout the entire casting process. They send out breakdowns for new roles, collect and organize audition audio and gather pitches from agencies to present to the casting director. The coordinator will listen through auditions, lending a second ear to the casting director when needed. They coordinate all casting sessions, whether they be callbacks, producer sessions or chemistry tests. They create session schedules, send out times and maintain the final schedule across all dates of a casting call. The coordinator keeps tabs on all outstanding casting and where each role currently lands in the casting process for the casting director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaison between agencies and casting teams on breakdowns
Create and send out breakdowns for all new roles to the VO community
Collect and organize audition audio for the casting director
Listen to all audition audio and act as second ear for CD, when needed
Coordinate w/ productions and network to set casting meetings or audition sessions
Create schedules for callbacks, producer sessions or chemistry tests
Send out session appointments and maintain the running callback schedules
Keep session notes during live auditions
Attend production meetings
Track casting status of all roles
Basic Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work under strenuous deadlines
Detail-oriented (Extremely Important)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Experience working in Casting or at a talent agency is preferred
