In the Nickelodeon Internship Program, interns will be working in a vibrant and inclusive environment alongside employees from diverse backgrounds. In addition to hands-on experience our programs include networking, mentorship, resume workshops, speaker sessions, career development, movie screenings, ticket raffles, visibility to top industry executives, and much more.

Internship Overview:

Nickelodeon's Post Production department oversees all aspects of the TV Animation Post Production process. Much of the work is done in-house, but some work is done out-of-house. The key processes are:

  • Collecting animation from vendor studios.

  • Picture editorial work--Assembling and editing animation, Locking Picture for sound work, notating and budgeting animation revisions for retakes, updating retaken shots into the edits, adding visual effects, color correction, titling, final video mastering to HDCAM-SR tapes and QuickTime files, fixing QC errors in these elements, final duplications, and archiving.

  • Sound creation and editorial work--spotting music, sound effects, and ADR with key personnel, reviewing music and sound effects, recording & editing ADR, final mixing, creation, delivery, and archiving of audio files.

Post Production Interns provide support as-needed to the Post Production staff that oversee these processes, and they get to learn about, observe, and at times participate in these processes at various levels. No required major however a strong interest in post production, film, tv, or audio preferred.
