DESCRIPTION:

KTVT/KTXA seeks a detail oriented, energetic, and bright individual to work full time as a Sales Assistant to support our advertising sales team. This position is responsible for managing a wide variety of administrative duties within our sales department. Interest in and familiarity with broadcast t.v. and online advertising sales is a plus.

Major functions of this role include supporting multiple members of the sales team by providing assistance with general administrative duties. Some specific responsibilities include: running reports to help track the sales process, assisting in the writing of sales proposals, working with the sales reps to create customer presentations, assembling media kits and tracking and filling of inventory. Additional assistance for special projects will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires a strong ability to multi-task as well as frequent and clear communication with sales staff. Regular communication with other departments and customers/clients will also be required. Critical thinking skills and adaptability are crucial to this role

Responsibilities: Process Insertion Orders, Inventory control and reconciling broadcast contract issues. Superior attention to detail Excellent writing/communication skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
