ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group is seeking a Publicity Intern for Summer 2020. The ideal Publicity intern is enthusiastic and passionate about the company and about Publicity. You should be willing to pitch in wherever needed. You should be able to take direction, work independently, and work well under pressure.

Job Duties

  • Assist with daily press clippings

  • Press clippings library

  • Developing and maintaining contact lists

  • Daily administrative tasks (answering phones, filing, etc.)

  • Transcribing interviews

  • Preparing for events, including international press junkets, press conferences, etc.

  • Other projects as assigned


  • Enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited college or university

  • Candidate is pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Publicity, Communications or related major

  • Familiarity with ViacomCBS programming, the industry, our talent, etc.

  • Must have professional demeanor (on the phone, in the office, dealing with executives or talent)

  • Must have good communication skills and discretion

  • Interest or background in television is preferred, international television is even better

  • Have an understanding of media landscape (key trades, publications, etc.)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Must be able to commit to working 2-3 days a week from 8:30AM - 5:30PM
