DESCRIPTION:

The Analyst, Total Rewards will work closely with the Vice President and Senior Director of Executive Compensation to determine and summarize severance payments due to all separating employees. This position will provide information to various stakeholders which will ensure proper recording of accounting entries and processing through HR systems. This position may also assist in executive compensation or total rewards projects as they arise. The ideal partner is highly-motivated, hardworking, results-oriented and capable of producing high quality work under occasional time constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly updates for the Controller’s group on restructuring or severance activity as identified by the business

  • Identify the applicable severance arrangements for separating employees and calculate form and amount of payments

  • Forecast timing of payments associated with anticipated separations

  • Assist legal department on payment terms and values of contractual separations

  • Ensure proper processing of contractual separations in HR and payroll systems

  • Ensure proper processing of any non-routine severance related changes needed including offset or any approved severance enhancements

  • Work with external auditors to provide necessary support for audit testing

  • Ad-hoc reporting related to separation dates, payments and/or timing

  • Ensure prorated short-term incentive plan payments for eligible separating employees are properly accrued

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • 2 years of experience in compensation, accounting or another highly quantitative role

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities

  • Experience effectively dealing with sensitive and confidential information

  • Ability to work with cross functional teams throughout the Company; including Legal, Accounting, Finance, & Payroll

Preferred:

· Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred#LI-SJ1
