This summer, CBS Operations and Engineering will be hosting its annual COE STEM Internship Program. The goal of this nine-week program is to recruit new and diverse talent into COE at the undergraduate level and give students hands-on experience in multi-platform technical areas in CBS.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work in an Agile, collaborative environment to build deploy, configure, and maintain on-air systems, which may include software installations, updates, and core services.

  • Pair with the Engineering team to enable a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels.

  • Shadow Project and System Engineers throughout all aspects of project implementation, from budgeting and procurement to system design, installation, and commissioning.



  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar degree.

  • A self-motivated individual with a passion for broadcasting, who is able to multitask and function in a fast-paced, high volume, 24x7 facility.

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong aptitude in analytics and problem-solving.

  • Experienced with desktop & laptop computers, basic electronics, and fundamental knowledge of LANs and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Coursework completed in some or all of the following areas: JavaScript, Python, Building in Cloud (AWS).

  • Familiar with operating systems such as Linux, Windows, MacOS.
