Role Details:

The Entertainment Site Strategy team is seeking a Coordinator to join our growing team. Site Strategy is a part of the larger CBS Interactive Integrated Marketing team that oversees advertising solutions for the CBS portfolio of premium brands.

The Entertainment Site Strategy team is responsible for developing and advancing sponsorship strategy for CBS Digital Entertainment brands (CBS, CBS All Access, Entertainment Tonight, ET Live, Inside Edition, Rachael Ray, Dr. Phil and The Doctors), empowering and educating Integrated Marketing and Sales on Entertainment solutions for brands, and innovating and improving our digital offerings in response to evolving client needs. The Site Strategy team manages the sales process from ideation to execution.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in this fast-paced and quickly evolving marketplace. This role will support and specialize in pre-sales, helping to manage RFP responses, content ideation and general presentation materials across multiple brands and dayparts.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Drafting captivating and precise write-ups of sponsorship opportunities and associated online program components.

  • Creating compelling visual marketing materials, such as 1-sheeters and decks, leveraging Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Crafting media plans that accurately capture all components of advertising programs and associated inventory projections/guarantees.

  • Participation in internal brainstorming sessions with appropriate CBS Interactive teams.

  • Vetting viability of content ideas and/or ad product capabilities with pertinent CBS Interactive teams, and properly assessing implications as it relates to client proposals.

  • Coordination with CBS Interactive and/or CBS Network teams on proposal development and deliverables.

  • Providing accurate status updates tied to progression of projects to key internal stakeholders.

  • Maintaining pre-sales tracker

  • Collaboration with product, content strategy and sales teams to respond to RFPs, client meetings and pitches.


What you bring to the team:

You have -

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1-2 years experience in digital media, or relevant marketing or analytics field

  • Experience in paid digital media marketing across the social platforms

  • Strong project management abilities

  • Laser focus and attention to detail are a must

  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders

  • Possess the desire to thrive in a rapidly changing environment that evolves with marketplace needs and conditions.

  • Familiarity with digital media and ability to generate perspectives on overall media landscape (TV, Audio, OTT, Emerging Trends)

  • Understanding of the basic principles of marketing, including research, public relations, branding, pricing and product development, as well as sales and selling cycles

You might also have -

  • Experience within the Entertainment Industry is preferred

  • Experience working with/on Sales or Integrated Marketing teams

  • Experience ideating and working on custom content programs that run on digital or linear platforms

  • Strong copywriting and presentation skills

  • Data storytelling and communication skills and a keen understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives

  • Strong skills in PowerPoint & Excel

  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt internal processes

  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.

  • A passion for entertainment and television is a plus.
