DESCRIPTION:

This position on the social media team will be responsible for overseeing CBS Sports’ presence on Facebook Watch. Candidate must be a social media professional with strong creative, production, and collaboration skills.

The Social Media Coordinator's main focus will be mainly with posting content to Facebook and actively communicating with colleagues, both internally at CBS Sports and externally at Facebook.

  • Posting Watch segments across CBS Sports' family of pages

  • Managing 3 Facebook Groups tied to Watch Series

  • Posting weekly promos for Watch Series to Facebook and Instagram

  • Capturing/posting Stories to Facebook and Instagram

  • Producing 3-5 Facebook Live Q&As for FB Groups per quarter, as required by agreement

QUALIFICATIONS:

'- Familiarity with posting to Facebook

  • Ability to create Instagram and Facebook Stories

  • Knowledge of Sports, particularly College Football, NFL, and Golf

  • Exceptional writing skills and understanding of grammar

  • Proficiency using Adobe Photoshop

  • Willingness to adapt working schedule to cover primetime sports viewing hours on nights and weekends

  • Bachelor's degree required
