The Sales Coordinator for the Digital & Online Sales channel supports one Sales Director and four National Account Managers responsible for selling to Amazon (print and eBook) and all eBook accounts plus four Account Managers responsible for open market distribution based in the US and four Account Managers based in the UK. The core responsibilities of this job includes overall daily, weekly and monthly sales tracking; coordination of prep for sell-in that includes compiling publicity, marketing and, advertising for reorder solicitation; and general sales analysis projects. This sales coordinator role also has responsibility to support the International team in, amongst other tasks, the preparation and execution of the book fairs we attend in New York, London, Frankfurt, and Guadalajara. Additionally the coordinator facilitates the internal relationship with the team responsible for selling our books into Europe and the Middle East.


  • 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience, preferably at the Coordinator level

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, problem solve, and demonstrate initiative in a deadline driven environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

  • Prior knowledge of Cognos business intelligence software preferred, or a desire to learn

Strong interest in book publishing, content strategy, and the digital marketplace
