Overview and Responsibilities
The Senior Designer works independently, provides creative leadership, works side-by-side with our licensees and production, demonstrates a solid understanding of the brands and latest trends in consumer products, and knows the competitive environment related to toys. This position reports to Senior Art Director, Toys, ViacomCBS, Global Creative Group.

Responsibilities
Oversee product development design of ViacomCBS brands in all categories to ensure fun, quality toys from licensees
Actively generate new opportunities to enhance our brands
Review submissions from licensees and respond in a timely manner
Give comprehensible 3D comments to licensees and provide fully developed control drawings of characters or products when it is needed
Maintain a consistently high level of quality, thoroughness and attention to detail
Attend licensees’ partner weekly meetings
Problem solve aesthetic and manufacturing issues, especially cost reduction solutions
Incorporate technological and innovative solutions to enhance our products
Present and communicate concepts to the design and marketing management and creative departments
Brainstorm new product concepts for existing and new ViacomCBS properties
Generate creative, innovative concepts based on the direction given by the design management team, including presentations of concepts to the design team, business and executive management
Utilizing both creative and strategic thinking around our brands
Ensure consistent character modeling and styling for all of the ViacomCBS properties
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor degree (BA, BS) or equivalent experience in Industrial Design/Toy Design/Entertainment Design and Illustration
Knowledge of the toy, licensing and entertainment industry and current toy products
Experience in the Toy Manufacturing and entertainment industry
In-depth knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes (injection molding, roto-molding, etc) and plastic materials (polypropylene, ABS, etc) and soft goods
Additional Qualifications
Knowledge/awareness of manufacturing costs of a toy and cost reduction strategies
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as an ability to do quick hand sketches
Ability to think creatively and conceptually and to articulate his/her vision both verbally and visually
Ability to problem-solve and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Decisiveness, high-energy, and a sense of humor

- The position required an initial monetary investment, such as a payment by wire transfer.
- The posting includes spelling and grammatical errors.
- You are offered a payment or “reward” in exchange for allowing the use of your bank account (e.g., for depositing checks or transferring money related to employment).
- You are asked to provide a photo of yourself.
- The job posting does not mention required qualifications and job responsibilities, but instead focuses on the amount of money to be made.
- The job posting reflects initial pay that is high compared to the average compensation for the position type.
- The "employer" contacts you by phone, but there is no way to call them back or the number is not active or goes only to a voice message box.
