Enter relevant contract terms into the rights management system validating data is consistent with given procedures. Work with rights sellers to correct any issues with contract data that does not conform to requirements.
Perform updates to Subright contract data to ensure timely and proper recognition of Subright income.
Prepare yearly tax forms to stay in compliance with inter-country tax treaty regulations and take advantage of reduced tax rates. Distribution of IRS tax forms to all foreign licensees.
Subright reporting and analysis. Reporting for Subright income, overdue advances, and ad hoc analysis. Reporting initially created using Access and distributed internally and externally.
Preparation of invoicing for Licensee payments due to ensure prompt payment.
Perform testing on Sarbanes Oxley controls.
- BS in Business/ Finance - Accounting degree preferred
Required Work Experience & Aptitude:
Minimum 0 to 3 years of Accounting work experience in a mid-size or large Company a plus
Experience with using Excel, Word, Access, Outlook.
Experience with contracts and data entry are a strong plus.
Self-starter and strong work ethic
Demonstrated problem solving
Assertive and good communicator (Written and Oral)
Independent with project management successes & skills
Solid Interpersonal skills as position requires interaction with the various business units, clients & authors
Willingness to learn, meet tight deadlines and get the job done.
