Your Day-to-Day:

  • Bring to bear infrastructure-as-code frameworks to provision and maintain cloud resources

  • Build, maintain, and manage clusters for technologies like Kubernetes

  • Lead the design, implementation of our cloud infrastructure repositories including CI/CD pipeline and different development environments

  • Support containerized workflows and applications

  • Drive container adoption among developers and teams

  • Work with development teams to migrate applications to containers

  • Research and deployment of new technologies to continue to drive innovation

  • Improve the software development process across teams

  • Work with operations and development teams to understand bottlenecks and to drive automation priorities

  • Optimize performance and cost of cloud resources

  • Develop and document reusable processes for use by other data teams

  • Monitor and resolve operational issues related to infrastructure and data pipelines

Key Projects:

  • Automate deployment processes for the data management teams

  • Build, Maintain and improve our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repositories for our products and services

  • Collaborate with our development teams on re-architecture of existing systems into the cloud

  • Build, maintain, and handle clusters for technologies like Kubernetes

  • Work on improving the software development process across teams

  • Drive container adoption among developers and teams

  • Work closely with development teams to find solutions to technical problems


What you bring to the team:

You have -

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience containerizing applications using Docker/Kubernetes/EKS/Helm

  • Deep Experienced with Linux systems

  • 2+ years design and implementation experience of Cloud systems in GCP and/or AWS using "infrastructure as code" tools like Terraform

  • Experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, CircleCI, GCP CloudBuild, Github Actions

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS

  • Experience with Cloud Networking (Availability Zones, VPC's, AWS Direct Connect, etc)

  • Experience in Python

You might also have -

  • Experience in Google Dataflow/Apache Beam is a plus

  • Experience in Apache NiFi is a plus

  • GCP and/or AWS certification
