DESCRIPTION:

Division Overview:

GameSpot's Original Programming team creates premium video series about video games and pop culture.

Role Details:

CBS Interactive is searching for a talented Production Intern for their Original Programming team in San Francisco. The successful candidate will assist in the production of high quality original video series about video games, popular TV shows and movies, and comic books for GameSpot and GameSpot Universe.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Pre-production tasks including but not limited to:

  • Admin

  • Writing call sheets

  • Location scouting and booking

  • Talent booking

  • Researching

  • Script fact checking and QA

  • Assisting on shoots

  • Transporting and setting up filming equipment

  • Set dressing

  • Monitoring audio levels

  • Logging and transferring footage

Logistics

  • Time commitment: full-time, 40 hours per week.

  • This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You -

  • Creative thinker

  • Highly organized

  • Strong interest and knowledge in gaming, TV shows, movies, and comic books

  • Strong communication skills

You might also have -

  • Experience with

  • Adobe Creative Cloud programs including PhotoShop, Premiere Pro, and Prelude

  • Shooting video with the Canon C-Range

Additional requirements:

  • Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or bootcamp

  • Must be at least 18 years old
