The Senior Analyst, Research will be responsible for providing clear and actionable analysis to inform programming, marketing, and scheduling decisions for the network and studio. This role will work with the research team to ensure accurate and timely audience reporting for key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have:
Strong skills in media measurement systems such as Nielsen, comScore, etc. Should have a deep understanding of Nielsen ratings metrics (methodology, computations, and interpretation) and demonstrated ability in advanced analysis in Nielsen NPower (viewer segmentation, audience duplication, and audience tracking).
Bring primary research experience in pilot / program testing and ad hoc study design.
Use all available research (primary and secondary) to develop complete, cohesive insights.
Go beyond data reporting to analyze the "why" behind daily, weekly, and seasonal ratings trends.
Have excellent written and presentation design skills, with the ability to explain research results in a clear and compelling manner.
Collaborate well with other researchers and analysts within CBS to utilize data from different sources/methods to develop a clear and concise picture.
Have prior experience in automating reporting processes.
5 years of research experience at a media company.
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
