Division Overview:

Our Distribution & Operations team works on expanding distribution of our best-in-class CBS content across multiple types of digital partnerships and business models, including (but not limited to) transactional, ad-supported streaming, subscription video on demand (with CBS All Access), and digital OTT products and partnerships. We are a diverse and agile team that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and partnering with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we bring CBS content to consumers, however and wherever they want to consume content.

Role Details:

The Partnership Operations Intern will support and assist the SVOD distribution team in the day-to-day operations of our SVOD service, CBS All Access, on digital OTT platforms. The Partnership Operations Intern will assist in daily operational tasks, including, but not limited to: helping pull content reporting, troubleshooting issues, preparing components for content launches, and tracking programming information to help streamline our launch process. The Partnership Operations Intern is expected to perform basic operational duties as part of the team.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Track, organize, and archive operations issues

  • Assist in preparing content components for launch

  • Perform regular content audits and assist in troubleshooting launch issues

  • Track, organize, and archive programming information across all content

  • Work on special projects as assigned


  • This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines


What you bring to the team:

You have -

  • An uncompromising attention to detail

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Must possess familiarity with SVOD / Streaming services

  • Must be extremely organized

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deliver against tight deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent command of the English language

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

  • A deep passion for television content, and an even deeper interest in media technology

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets

You might also have -

  • Knowledge of scripting, SQL, and database creation

  • Prior internship experience with another studio, especially one with a streaming service

Additional Requirements:

  • Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or bootcamp

  • Must be at least 18 years old
