Overview and Responsibilities
Pluto TV is searching for an innovative self-starting HR Manager that can thrive in a fast-paced tech startup environment. The role will report to the Director of Human Resources and provide support to the Head of People as a strategic business partner to the Organization as a whole.
The ideal candidate is seeking an opportunity to broaden their skills in several areas of HR, including but not limited to people operations, immigration, and employee engagement. This is a critical role with a wide range of responsibilities, including:
Oversee new hire benefit enrollment and process Qualifying Events in online benefits tool
Partner closely with attorney to handle all immigration matters in a timely manner
Be active in the Talent Acquisition Process (interviewing, providing feedback, etc.)
Be a key leader on the People team regarding training, payroll, safety, and all other initiatives related to the Human Resource function.
Collaborate with the People team & Leadership to develop and implement HR plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.
Partner with the Head of People and the HR Director on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment.
Review and analyze business data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
Provide leadership in developing and implementing best-in-class employment practices.
Partner with managers to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential.
Collaborate with multiple teams across ViacomCBS re. Initiatives, policies & procedures, and integrations when needed.
Provide ongoing support to the leadership team on human resources related matters, policies and procedures.
Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling.
Deploy a hands-on approach in effectively assessing the needs of the employees and driving efficient follow-up and reaction to those needs.

We believe the right individual will have the following skills and experience in order to be successful in this role:
HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI) would be preferred
6+ years strong HR Generalist experience, preferably from a fast-paced Startup Environment
Ability to develop strong working relationships across all departments, levels, and companies
Comfortable working in a dynamic, and constantly changing [sometimes chaotic] environment
Passion for learning, innovation, and organizational development
Proactive, and can pick up skills/abilities at warped speed
Make the impossible possible, push your boundaries
