DESCRIPTION:

With so much happening at Network 10 right now, we have casual/freelance work opportunities for Content Services Operator’s within our Operations team. If you’re keen to kick off or continue a career within broadcast television and other exciting content delivery platforms, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Taking care of all tasks associated within media asset management including:

  • Acquisition and ingest of program, news, commercial, production, promo and digital assets as well as daily local and international satellite feeds.

  • Making sure media assets are readily available within our Media Asset Management system for all our internal production teams.

  • Utilising advanced workflow tools ensuring media items are prepared for transmission with appropriate workflow stages applied and monitored.

  • QC of broadcast items ensuring technical standards are met and applying play out segmentation and integration metadata where required (yes, getting paid to watch our great new content!)

  • Scheduled asset monitoring, liaising with internal and external facilities ensuring all broadcast items are ready when they need to be.

  • Raw media handling and preparation utilising high-end media processing applications and systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • You will need to be a highly motivated self-starter who can thrive in a deadline driven environment

  • Have effective communication skills with strong customer service focus.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Strong computer literacy and enjoy the use of new technology

  • Experiencing using any MAM platform, AVID Media Composer, Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Premiere Pro as well as understanding of common codecs and file formats an advantage however not essential.

  • Ability to learn and adapt to continuously evolving technology, practices and procedures.

  • Can work within a 24/7 day rotating roster.
