Ingest/download all incoming photo assets (including unit, gallery, events). Manage assets by adhering to naming conventions, file and folder structures, and metadata standards. Convert and process RAW files.
Act as photographer on assignments such as talk shows, game shows, red carpet events & alternate programming. Must be able to shoot, light, and assist studio assignments.
Work as a digital tech/editor at live events and photo shoots using CaptureOne. Speed and efficiency are a must.
Provide communication and instructions for asset delivery. Upload and troubleshoot for internal and external photographers.
Mind talent approval rights and contracts; send & track photo approvals accordingly.
Provide production support at photoshoots when needed.
Maintain the internal filing systems by inputting metadata for all photo coverage generated out of the LA Photo department.
Upload assets to multiple databases (3rd party DAM system, DF Studio, Box, hard drives) and maintain organization and consistency across all platforms.
Distribute assets to NY photo department, ad agencies, studios and partners; record and track distribution.
Manage 3rd party retouching by creating work orders, providing guidance/feedback to the vendor.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the photography field (concentration in the entertainment industry is a plus).
Extensive knowledge of Photo Mechanic, Capture One, FileMaker Pro, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, especially Photoshop. Experience with DF Studio is a plus.
At least 3 years of experience taking photographs in a professional setting (ie. unit and event photography).
Knowledge of Mac & PC operations.
Extensive knowledge of lighting.
Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
