CBS Studio Center is looking for a Manager, Studio Safety to assist with COVID compliance, production safety, and lot compliance.
Work with CCOs for all productions on the lot to ensure safety and compliance.
Serve as the COVID Compliance Officer (CCO) for CBS Studio Center.
Liaise with Operations and Facilities, ensuring all EH&S issues on the lot are addressed and resolved.
Coordinate safety details for all CBS productions on the lot, working closely with the Head of Production Safety.
Perform safety inspections of stages, fire extinguishers, and exterior eyewash stations as scheduled.
Participate in weekly studio operations meeting and twice weekly studio production meetings.
Ensure productions and facilities are in compliance with LA City Fire, Cal EPA, Cal OSHA and CBS specific regulations and policies.
Represent the EH&S Department by ensuring compliance and safety are addressed for productions, employees, and guests, taking direction from the Director, Health & Safety.
3-5 years of work experience is required.
2 years of studio safety experience is preferred.
Degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field is preferred.
Specific EH&S training from the Safety Pass program.
Strong PC skills, with Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook mandatory.
Completion of the primary set of Safety Pass production safety required courses.
Strong inter-personal skills - heavy client contact and interface with studio operating departments.
Physically capable to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work at heights.
