DESCRIPTION:

Good Day has a rare opening on our reporting team. Are you insanely creative? Are you someone who thrives on early morning excitement? Do last minute rundown changes for breaking news get you charged up? Can you quickly shift gears showing personality and bring a feature segment to life? That’s who we’re looking for to fill this unique position on a one-of-a-kind show. This will be a weekend position with fill-in weekday shifts.

You must be self-motivated, creative, versatile, engaging and enterprising. You must work well under tight deadlines.

Good Day is a unique morning program. We have been entertaining viewers for more than 25 years. We are streamed live at http://gooddaysacramento.cbslocal.com/ and we strongly encourage you to watch our show before applying.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be entertaining

Ability to engage and connect with viewers

Strong reporting skills

Ability to work varied shifts, including overnights and weekends

Can deal with the stresses and pressures of time-sensitive newscast production
